GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The Maintenance Technician supports and ensures the completion of day-to-day maintenance activities at the plant.
The position provides support to leadership for all maintenance staff to drive excellence and maximize effort.
The position focuses on maintaining high-quality standards through the efforts expended at the facility that meet and exceed customer expectations while maintaining a professional and equally efficient environment for all production employees.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform standard work in a safe manner by following all written and verbally communicated safety rules and procedures.
Inspect and repair plant equipment, including but not limited to mechanical, welding, carpentry, electrical, instrumentation and controls to minimize downtime.
Document accurate maintenance activity records.
Clean and maintain assigned areas and tools to ensure proper functionality.
Participate in the continuous improvement process.
Report incidents, near misses, and any non-conformances through the appropriate channels.
Exemplify the expected values of organization including following policies and standard work procedures.
Give input on and coordinate maintenance supply purchases.
Perform Preventative Maintenance Program to ensure completion and accuracy.
Other projects and tasks assigned.
Crosstrain on other production functions to aid as business need dictates.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:
No formal educational requirement
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:
Maintenance Technician I: No prior experience required unless noted in the education section.
Maintenance Technician II: 1+ year of experience
Maintenance Technician III: 3+ years of experience
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Indicate if required or preferred.
Forklift License preferred
Class 3 boiler operating certificate for maintenance Technician III (Alberta)
Class 4 boiler operating certificate for maintenance Technician II (Alberta)
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Indicate if required or preferred.
Experience in 480-volt 3 phase electricity required (Preferred in some locations)
Capable of installing, programming, and troubleshooting PLC; AC/DC drive motors preferred
Ability to troubleshoot electric, air systems, and hydraulic systems
Knowledge of lockout/tagout, arc flash requirements, confined space entry and hot work permit
Ability to work overtime as needed; ability to meet deadlines
Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond urgently to down equipment
Effective team player, self-motivated, quick learner
Good communication skills with the ability to read, write, and communicate fluently in English
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Incumbent must be able to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach, climb, balance, kneel, talk, hear, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Title: Testing Technician
Summary:
Support the Research & Development laboratory team in the development, modification, and evaluation of high-performance corrosion-resistant coatings, linings, and fireproofing products.
This role reports directly to the Testing Supervisor or senior lab personnel and plays a key part in ensuring product quality and innovation.
The Technician I will perform routine laboratory testing, conduct quality control evaluations, grade test panels, complete paint calculations, and maintain accurate laboratory documentation-all while gaining hands-on experience under the guidance of experienced team members.
Minimum Requirements:

Are you an experienced automotive aftermarket professional ready to take on a UK-wide commercial sales role with a globally recognised manufacturer?
Our client, a globally recognised manufacturer supplying passenger car, LCV, truck and bus markets, is seeking an ambitious Sales Executive to help develop and grow key accounts across the UK.
This is an excellent opportunity for an aftermarket professional to build their commercial sales career, working closely with an experienced Sales Director and Sales Manager while gaining valuable exposure to key customers, market strategy and business development activities.
This is a field-based role with regular customer interaction.
Salary: £40,000-£45,000 + Company Car
Location: Ideally based within the Northwest, including Liverpool, Manchester, Warrington, Chester, Crewe or surrounding areas.
What you'll be doing:
Manage and develop a portfolio of distributors and motor factors, ensuring they receive accurate sales information, product updates and commercial support.
Grow sales by strengthening relationships across the motor factor network, buying groups and trading groups, focusing on strategic account development.
Identify and research new opportunities within distribution channels, presenting recommendations to the Sales Manager.
Maintain regular communication with customers and internal teams regarding products, orders, forecasts and commercial updates.
Represent the business professionally at customer meetings, factor branch visits and relevant industry events.
Stay informed on market trends, competitor activity and category performance to support sales planning and product strategy.
Assist in preparing sales reports, forecasts and customer performance updates using Excel and BI tools (training provided).
Work with the Sales Director to help set customer and market sales plans.
Monitor performance against monthly and quarterly targets, highlighting corrective actions where needed.
What we're looking for:
Strong experience within the automotive aftermarket, ideally working with motor factors, distributors, buying groups or trading groups — including candidates looking to move into a customer-facing commercial role.
A target-driven mindset with the ability to build long-term, commercially effective relationships.
Confident communicator with excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
Comfortable working independently in a field-based environment, planning and managing your own customer visits and schedules.
Strong attention to detail and an appreciation for regular reporting and communication with senior management.
Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office; experience with BI tools is beneficial (training available).
Full UK driving licence.

We are currently seeking an experienced Adult Social Worker to join a Neighbourhood Team.
This role requires a recognised Social Work qualification and a minimum of two years' post-qualified experience.
About the Team
The team works with vulnerable adults aged 18 and over, providing long-term support and case management to help individuals achieve the best possible outcomes.
Responsibilities include undertaking Care Act assessments, Mental Capacity Act assessments, and Section 42 safeguarding enquiries, while developing person-centred care plans tailored to individual needs.
The team offers a supportive management structure, regular supervision, and ongoing guidance to ensure staff feel well supported in their role.
About You
The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, motivated, and knowledgeable in adult social work settings, including community, hospital, older persons, and physical disability services.
You will hold a Social Work qualification (Degree, DipSW, or CQSW) and have at least two years of post-qualified experience.
A valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle would be advantageous but are not essential for this position.
