Branch Supervisor - Distribution & Logistics
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Branch Supervisor / Warehouse Supervisor / Assistant Branch Manager / Depot Supervisor to lead our depot / branch operations and ensure exceptional customer service while driving efficiency and performance.
In this key role, you will oversee the day-to-day functions of the branch, leading both the warehouse and customer service teams to meet and exceed performance KPIs, while adhering to company policies and health & safety standards.
Ideal Location - Glasgow

Key Responsibilities:
Lead, motivate, and manage the warehouse and customer service teams to ensure high levels of service and operational efficiency.
Manage / lead operational functions, including distribution and customer service, in alignment with profitability and sales goals.
Training / coach and develop your team to improve performance and ensure the highest standards are met.
Ensure stock control is managed effectively and efficiently, making key decisions on stock levels.
Communicate effectively with senior management to share insights on operational practices, business opportunities, and team performance.
Keep staff informed about branch performance, new initiatives, and operational changes.
Oversee all warehouse operations, ensuring effective management of stock, goods inwards, and inventory processes.
Conduct quarterly stock takes.
Monitor and optimize logistics operations, including van and external haulier management, to maximize efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications & Experience:
2-4 years of experience in distribution and logistics management, with proven leadership skills.
Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.

Reporting into the Head of IT audit, you will be responsible for delivering the IT audit plan as well as working alongside a small team of IT auditors.
Specific responsibilities will include:
Take responsibility for the delivery of IT audits from developing the scope, identifying key risks and controls, developing fieldwork plans through to reporting and close out with stakeholders.
Ensure the application of internal audit standards and best practice so audits are delivered to the requisite quality, timings and budget.
Support the Head of IT Audit in the maintaining Risk Assessments and developing the Annual Audit Plan.
Maintain and develop senior management relationships across the business.
Maintain a strong understanding of key IT, business, finance and regulatory activities across the business.

The successful candidate will ideally be CISA or equivalent qualified and be able to demonstrate that they are able to lead and deliver a portfolio of IT Audits across the business.
Stakeholder relationship management is critical to this role as you will seek to develop this aspect in order to work collaboratively with the business in order to add value.
Previous financial services experience is not essential for this role but the ability to deliver IT audits is.
The role can be based from Bristol (ideally) although Colchester is also possible.
There will be some travel with the role to these and two other UK sites.
This is anticipated to be no more than 15%.
The team work in a hybrid manner with 2-3 days in the office and the rest at home.
£70-80k base + strong benefits package and bonus potential.

A highly regarded law firm, who have had consistent and significant growth over the past 5 years, are looking to add to their Planning team with the recruitment of a further Planning Solicitor.
With a team that successfully works across multiple locations, they advise on all aspects of planning law for both private and public sector clients on major developments and infrastructure projects.
Work includes major residential and urban projects, regeneration work, judicial review challenges in a planning context, conducting planning appeals, negotiating complex planning and highways agreements to name a few areas.
The team also regularly advises household name residential developer clients as well planning authorities nationally.
The firm is well known for its culture, being one where people work hard and smart, but are not expected to work all hours.
They have a hybrid working policy, although there are plenty of people who enjoy being in the office due to the plentiful social and charity events that take place on a regular basis.
