Commercial Account Handler - Sheffield (Hybrid)
Hybrid working: 2 days from home
This role has come about due to a change in the team, and the brokerage is now looking for an experienced Commercial Account Handler to step in and take ownership of an established book of business.
You would be inheriting a well-looked-after commercial portfolio, broadly spread across multiple policy types rather than focused on one class.
Depending on experience, the book sits around £1.5m to £2m GWP.
The clients are established, the work is steady, and the expectation is simply to look after them properly.
What You'll Be Walking Into
A settled commercial team that values experience, accuracy, and doing things the right way.
You will work closely with Account Executives, supporting them with renewals, MTAs, and day-to-day client servicing, while being trusted to manage your own workload and relationships.
This is not a high-pressure or overly sales-driven environment.
The focus is on retention, service, and maintaining strong client relationships.
Hybrid working is in place, but the team is office-led and collaborative.
You will need experience in a similar commercial account handling role and a good understanding of commercial insurance products.
Acturis experience would be helpful, but it is not essential if you are confident technically.
Support is available for professional development, including CII, if that is something you want to continue with.
This role will suit someone who enjoys having responsibility for their own clients, values stability, and wants to be part of a business that knows what it does well.

Position Overview of Controls Automation Engineer
The role will be working as part of the Maintenance Team providing ‘Hands-on' Electrical & PLC Technical support to both Production and other internal functions throughout the Factory.
You will need strong skills and experience with breakdowns, fault finding, and changing of PLC parameters specifically.
The workload as an estimate will be balanced out Project work 60/40 projects, 70/30 projects lead.
Experience of installing servo drives and projects, capex improvements and HMI all required.
Providing plant-wide electrical maintenance service, departmental support and repairs on a wide range of machinery such as conveyor-based systems, hydraulic presses, moulding machines and packaging machinery, ensuring that all production targets are maintained.
Experience and Qualification Required for a Controls Automation Engineer
Recognised Electrical Engineering Apprenticeship & Qualification or equivalent UK level 3 qualification - NVQ, City and Guilds AND BTEC 3 or HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering
PLC Fault finding experience is essential
You will need strong skills and experience with breakdowns, fault finding, and changing of PLC parameters specifically.

We are currently looking for a motivated, professional, and flexible individual able to work 5 days a week, within a small stock count team, counting our Pharmacy Clients.
In this role, you are required to accurately count stock for Retail & Asset Solutions in various high street Pharmacies, this role is extremely important to ensure pharmacies are fully stocked with the medication required for local Doctors and Hospitals.
Please note all training is provided upon your first shift.
Previous stock, audit or retail experience is advantageous but not essential.
Colleagues will be offered a benefit called Stream, which enables colleagues to track, save and access up to 50% of their wages prior to pay day.
Stream also offers financial advice, all contributing to the financial wellbeing of RAS colleagues
Applicants are expected to:
Be able to work 5 out of 7 days including weekends.
Portray a professional manner.
Obtain good communication skills.
Have a good level of arithmetic, specifically multiplication.
Be comfortable working with different levels of management.
Willingness and ability to travel across different regions to shifts.
Be flexible and willing to work on a casual work basis.
Be committed to showing interest in work and carrying out shifts.
Driving license
Please note all work will require prolonged periods of standing and some use of step stools and ladders.
Some sites are in warehouses or large retail premises where you may be required to access and work with ground and high level stock, therefore you will be bending and stretching to reach stock throughout your shift and at times may possibly be outdoors.
