KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1.
Keywork: To key work and support clients generally within your project, andto act as the Key Worker to designated clients under MAPPA arrangements.

Housing Management: To assist clients to live safely and independently in thecommunity by providing support that enables them to successfully maintain theirtenancy and promotes positive outcomes for them and the wider community theylive in.

Involvement: To promote and support client involvement, manage complaintsand seek resolutions.

Discipline: To supervise and monitor the behaviour of Clients and to ensurethat Clients comply with any statutory order including MAPPA expectations,occupancy agreement or house rules and to report deviations to your linemanager promptly.

Toappropriately challenge and de-escalate anti-social behaviour and attitudesand report to statutory organisations as required.

Team meetings: To contribute to team work and practices.
To take an activepart in team meetings, ensuring that the team is fully briefed in relation to riskfactors, changes in Client behaviour and de-briefed following any incident.

Referral process: To assist in the management of the referral process withinthe project to achieve agreed occupancy levels.

Liaison: To assist clients to access other relevant services and to act as anadvocate for them when necessary.

Job Purpose
The role of the Deputy Manager (DM) is to support the Registered Manager in undertaking the operation

The post holder also is required to work weekends as part of a rota and Bank Holidays when required.
Sleeping-in duties are also required which is paid at an additional rate.
On occasions you may be requested to change your rota at a given notice as per your contract, to ensure the contingencies of the service are covered.
This may also include covering an additional sleep-in duty as an emergency measure.
In accordance with the guidelines on Health and Safety, to accept responsibility for working within these guidelines and reporting any concerns to the Registered Manager.

Job Summary and Purpose
The Registered Manager (RM) is responsible for the effective and efficient operation of the designated
Ofsted-registered children's home (or homes), operating within an agreed annual budget.
The RM has
full responsibility for the day-to-day running and management of the home, supported by a staff team,
ensuring the children's welfare, safety and needs are at the centre of their care practices.
The children's
homes operate 24-hours each day, every day of the year, requiring round-the-clock staffing and
management.
The RM is involved in staff recruitment and selection and is responsible for the effective
deployment of staff.

Hours of Work

Special Conditions
Minimum NVQ level 3 in residential childcare and a minimum of 2 years' experience in working within a children's residential home
This post requires the holder to do varying shifts, which include early morning and late evening work and an on call rota system.
The post holder also is required to work weekends as part of a rota and Bank Holidays when required.
Sleeping-in duties are also required which is paid at an additional rate.
On occasions you may be requested to change your rota at a given notice as per your contract, to ensure the contingencies of the service are covered.
This may also include covering an additional sleep-in duty as an emergency measure.
In accordance with the guidelines on Health and Safety, to accept responsibility for working within these guidelines and reporting any concerns to the Registered Manager.
To undertake such other duties appropriate to the grade of the post and the needs of the Organisation in order to develop and maintain service delivery.
