This role involves supporting adults with a range of needs, to live independently and confidently in their own homes and communities.
This role differs slightly from traditional domiciliary care, your key responsibilities include:
Providing domestic support, including cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and light household tasks
Offering carer relief (respite support) to family members and informal carers
Supporting individuals with sensory loss to access the community, attend appointments, and remain socially connected
Providing varying levels of personal care, tailored to individual needs, which may include: Assistance with washing and continence care, Help with oral care and grooming, Support with mobility and safe transfers
Communicating effectively and respectfully, adapting communication methods to meet individual needs
Promoting independence, dignity, privacy, and choice at all times
Shifts will range from an hour upwards and will be across Swindon and the surrounding area.
About You

Reliable and flexible to work across a varied schedule, including weekends
Experience in care or sensory support is desirable but not essential - full training will be provided
Willingness to learn about sight loss, hearing loss, and dual sensory impairments
A driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential with Business insurance Class 1 due to the community-based nature of the role
