The EHS manager is accountable for the development and implementation of programs in the Environmental, Health, Safety and Security areas of manufacturing.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead Comprehensive EHS Programs: Oversee all safety and environmental initiatives within the plant, aligning them with government regulations and company standards.
Develop and implement strategies to enhance EHS performance. Compliance Assurance: Ensure rigorous compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as corporate EHS practices.
Act as a liaison between the plant and regulatory agencies to maintain a transparent and cooperative relationship. Project Management: Identify, design, and execute EHS-related projects to address safety and environmental challenges.
Take charge of corrective actions for any EHS concerns that arise. Training and Education: Conduct EHS training sessions to raise awareness among employees about safety protocols, environmental responsibilities, and regulatory compliance. Emergency Preparedness: Lead the development and maintenance of the Emergency Preparedness Program, ensuring its effectiveness and alignment with industry best practices. Inspections and Audits: Coordinate and lead both internal and external inspections and audits.
Address findings promptly and develop strategies to continuously improve EHS performance. Knowledge Transfer: Facilitate knowledge sharing across teams by leveraging your expertise gained from formal and informal training.
Empower employees with EHS insights and best practices. EHS Reporting: Compile data for submission related to environmental permits (air, water & hazardous waste), safety statistics and corporate EHS submissions EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Safety, Industrial Hygiene or related professional field of study. 7 plus years' experience working in EHS or related field, including experience leading the development and implementation of environmental and safety programs in a manufacturing or chemical operation Strong knowledge and understanding of State and Federal EHS Regulations. Proficient in environmental air permits including QDRs, PERs and PTOs. Strong understanding of hazardous waste management for LQG & SQG. Experience with PSM with PHAs. Experience with ISO 14001&45001. Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office.
SAP experience a plus. Strong communication skills both in oral and written. Ability to proactively identify and correct conditions that affect employee safety. Multi-site experience a plus. CSP (certified safety professional) and/or other related EHS certifications a plus. DAP is looking to hire a Product Development Scientist in R&D Department. As a R&D Scientist, you will plan/Perform experiments and generate general test data and analytical data with minimal guidance from senior R&D personnel; perform basic data analysis.
Participate in and help drive activities that improve the operation of the R&D function.
Collaborate with other R&D personnel and participate in cross-functional teams to help drive innovation.
Proven success in previous role.
Responsibilities:
Develop and carry out experimental plans for new product development, product modification and perform basic analysis of experimental results.
Demonstrate competency in formulation practices, complex problem-solving, innovative solutions, and addressing scientific challenges. Demonstrate the ability to operate analytical and material characterization equipment, generate high quality data, and perform basic analysis of the data generated. Assist senior R&D Personnel to develop manufacturing procedures for new products and work collaboratively at plant trials with plant engineers and quality control managers.
Demonstrate knowledge of basic process steps for plant trials. Adhere to Laboratory Quality Management System (QMS) practices and participate in QMS audits.
Perform laboratory equipment calibration and maintenance.
Assist in providing technical support for marketing, sales, and customer support including planning/conducting product demonstrations for customers, trade shows, Etc.
Adhere to laboratory safety practices and participate in all safety and housekeeping initiatives.
Demonstrate ability to independently assemble information for and generate highly effective written reports and oral presentations to communicate within R&D and with cross-functional teams.
Requirements:
Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry, Polymer Science, Materials Science, or related field with 5 years' experience of relevant experience A passion for chemistry, science, problem solving, and creativity. Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication and presentation skills. A breadth of technical knowledge and a keen interest in learning from others. Possess innovation skills evident as risk taking, result seeking, and idea integration.
Hands-on bench experience with various chemistries (latex, moisture curing, reactive, etc.) in sealants, adhesives, coatings, repair or related field. Bench chemistry experience and familiarity with various analytical techniques: wet chemistry, titrations, microscopy, rheology, thermal analysis, tensile testing, etc. Experience operating lab scale mixing equipment as well as lab scale analytical and testing apparatus.

Position Overview: We are seeking a qualified and experienced Principal Auditor to join our audit team.
This role will involve overseeing the delivery of audits in Q4 to conclude our annual audit plan and ensuring that follow-up audits are completed effectively.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Audit Manager and other Principal Auditors to support the audit function within our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as Principal Auditor, leading and overseeing the audit process in Q4.
Support the Audit Manager in delivering the annual audit plan and ensuring timely completion of audits.
Conduct follow-up audits to verify that recommendations from previous audits are implemented.
Provide coaching and quality assurance to senior auditors, ensuring high standards of audit delivery.

Qualifications:
