JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary:
Join the Carboline team as an Inside Sales Representative and play a crucial role in expanding reach within a dedicated sales territory.
This individual will actively engage with current customers and develop new leads to showcase and sell Carboline's products and services.

Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree, Technical Degree, or equivalent experience.
Minimum 1 year of individual sales experience.
Valid Driver's License.
Preferred: Prior industrial sales experience within the coatings industry.
Physical Requirements:
This position requires minimal physical activity but does require prolonged computer usage - up to 8 hours a day.
No unusual environmental, lifting, or exertion requirements are associated with this position.
Occasional travel may be required.
Essential Functions:
Develops and maintains relationships with new and existing customers to increase sales volume, recover lost accounts, and monitor market trends.
Focuses on proactive outreach to engage both current and prospective customers.
Conducts customer calls to promote products, new releases, and available services, including updates on supply; provides technical support as needed.
Responsible for securing new orders and renewing existing ones, collaborating with customer service and sales management to ensure optimal service levels.
Establishes and executes a regional sales strategy, incorporating prospecting, new business development, analysis of market potential, and repeat business opportunities.
Maintains and updates customer and sales data within the CRM system (Salesforce) to ensure data accuracy and quality.
Collaborates effectively with internal teams and leverages company resources to deliver exceptional customer service and maintain high customer satisfaction.
Exercises sound judgment and timely follow-up when addressing customer complaints, returns, claims, or issues related to products and services.
Collects and communicates key insights regarding customer accounts, market trends, competitors, and prospects to support management in strategic planning and decision-making.
Demonstrates the ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining productivity and accountability.
Prepares annual sales plans, including detailed targeting of markets and key accounts.
Performs additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management.
Demonstrates active commitment to the company's safety and quality initiatives.

GENERAL SUMMARY: Perform a variety of general repairs, installations, and maintenance on facility equipment, building and utility systems.
Perform general carpentry, floor repairs and general repairs of facility.
Maintain record of maintenance and repairs.

Fill completed batches into appropriate containers or onto tanker for shipping purposes, following appropriate procedures for different fill-off methods as indicated on batch ticket.
Seal and apply appropriate labeling to containers as indicated on batch tickets.
Move finished goods to finished goods warehouse for shipping.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.

Locate appropriate vat to be filled off per batch ticket instructions Pre-mix material in vat before filling Locate appropriate materials (containers, strainers, equipment, etc.) used for filling, as indicated by batch ticket, and in fill-off manuals Always bond and ground containers before filling Obtain retain per instructions in fill-off procedures.

Business Development, BURmastic/Modified Bitumen (BUR/MB) will drive sales (demand, adoption, and growth) for their assigned market segment and technologies.
Collaboration with key internal stakeholders, building and maintaining essential tools, market positioning, training and education is required.
Business Development, BURmastic/Modified Bitumen (BUR/MB) will be a thought leader and subject matter expert for current, future and/or related technologies, provide strategic direction, and promote system selling to drive growth.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Review each individual Roofing field sales (annual) business plan.
Be part of 1) each local Roofing field sales team, 2) each Roofing regional sales leadership team, and 3) Roofing field sales training to drive growth via Rule-of-10's and project specific activity.
Act as technical expert for related technologies in assigned area and market segment.
Leverage industry, segment, and/or product knowledge to identify gaps in assigned product line and present opportunities for development and growth.
Provide leadership, creative guidance, and collaborate with multiple cross functional stakeholders on pre-launch needs and post-launch support to enhance selling efforts; including but not limited to testing, certification, warranties, collateral, literature, case studies, and success stories.
Collaborate with Sales on creating and executing plans to increase sales knowledge and drive revenue in assigned market segment and technologies, including but not limited to existing products, new product launches, and newly acquired products to drive sustainable growth and increase market share.
Collaborate with the Learning team on content for our qualified applicator program (QAPs) and general industry training.
Work with local sales representatives to identify target contractors and other stakeholders to drive attendance at technical trainings.
Collaborate with the Marketing Communications team on the development and implementation of marketing campaigns to meet business objectives and generate leads/opportunities/orders.
Work in partnership with Corporate Development and Strategy groups to develop strategy maps and business plans.
Identify and assist in the prioritization of merger and acquisition (M&A) targets based on strategic initiatives and growth priorities.
Drive integration of acquired products into new and established sales initiatives.
Collaborate with Strategy and R&D teams on next generation technology.
Create, implement, maintain, and train on the use of value calculators.
Provide leadership within applicable industry associations and provide trade show support, as appropriate.
Provide regular updates and communication to the business regarding activities, initiatives, outcomes, key performance indicators (KPI's), etc.
Continuously enhance technical knowledge through self-study, industry networks, and research.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:
Deep knowledge of assigned market segment and technologies
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
Valid driver's license with reliable transportation

Ability to travel up to 75% of the time is required
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Incumbent must be able to stand, walk, sit, use hands, climb ladders, reach, talk, hear, and lift up to 50 lbs.
BENEFITS AND COMPENSATION:
The average base salary for this position starts at $117,000; however, the actual salary will vary and may be above or below the average based on various factors including, but not limited to location, experience level, qualifications, and performance.
In addition to the base salary, this position offers a performance bonus based on the achievement of business goals.
