JOB DESCRIPTION
The Process Engineer will manage and commercialize new processes developed by the Research and Development department into full scale production within the Tremco Corsicana plant.
The Process Engineer will determine which equipment in the plant is most suited to make new products and what modifications may be necessary for such production to successfully occur. Over the next two years, the Tremco Corsicana facility will design, construct, and commission a new reactor.
This new major plant expansion will introduce new production capabilities to the Corsicana facility and is expected to serve as a model project for further plant modernization efforts.
The employee filling this role will lead this expansion project all the way through the commissioning and scaleup phases. In addition to supporting new products and plant expansions, this individual will also manage and optimize existing processes throughout the plant with the goals of maximizing yield and minimizing batch cycle times. SUMMARY OF JOB DUTIES: Safety The Process Engineer will actively participate in process safety reviews, and process hazards analysis as the technical representative. Must understand the hazards of the raw materials, processes, and products in order to develop a safe manufacturing process. Subject matter expert in wide range of chemical plant processes and systems.
Perform safety vent calculations for process upset conditions. Determine the correct control systems and interlocks to safely operate the process. Participate in plantwide process safety programs. LEAN Culture Use knowledge of existing processes to propose process modifications which will reduce waste. The Process Engineer, will be the technical consultant to the plant continuous improvement team. Understand the principle and philosophy behind the implementation of a LEAN culture. Product Quality Provide process knowledge to quality control department in order to troubleshoot quality issues. After developing a new process, coordinate the training of operators with a focus on quality critical product specifications, Standard Operating Procedures and process parameters. Productivity Use knowledge of the manufacturing process to improve productivity through elimination of non-value-added activities. Lead the effort to identify causes which result in productivity levels below the expected. Participate with maintenance in facility continuous improvement programs MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (special skills, knowledge, ability, education, etc.): Bachelor's degree from four-year College or university in Chemical Engineering.
Ability to comprehend and apply principles of advanced calculus, modern algebra, and advanced statistical theory.
Knowledge of SAP and demonstrated basic knowledge of Process Control Systems.
EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university Understand of plant operations Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format.
Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors. Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. Must be literate in engineering, R&D, maintenance, quality, production, scheduling, forecasting, SAP, finance, EH&S, and will assist in plant management Process oriented Outside of the box thinking Business comprehension

Evaluate trends in incidents.
Recommend corrective actions to minimize/eliminate undesirable trends.
Incorporate accident prevention programs into safety directive.
Maintain Environmental reporting requirements Keep accurate records on plant emission calculations to maintain monthly, quarterly, and yearly reporting submission requirements.
Assure plants stay in compliance with required external and internal reporting requirements.
Working knowledge of TRI, Tier II, SPCC and SWPPP is requested.

The Process Engineer will manage and commercialize new processes developed by the Research and Development department into full scale production within the Tremco Corsicana plant.
The Process Engineer will determine which equipment in the plant is most suited to make new products and what modifications may be necessary for such production to successfully occur. Over the next two years, the Tremco Corsicana facility will design, construct, and commission a new reactor.
This new major plant expansion will introduce new production capabilities to the Corsicana facility and is expected to serve as a model project for further plant modernization efforts.
The employee filling this role will lead this expansion project all the way through the commissioning and scaleup phases. In addition to supporting new products and plant expansions, this individual will also manage and optimize existing processes throughout the plant with the goals of maximizing yield and minimizing batch cycle times. SUMMARY OF JOB DUTIES: Safety The Process Engineer will actively participate in process safety reviews, and process hazards analysis as the technical representative. Must understand the hazards of the raw materials, processes, and products in order to develop a safe manufacturing process. Subject matter expert in wide range of chemical plant processes and systems.
Perform safety vent calculations for process upset conditions. Determine the correct control systems and interlocks to safely operate the process. Participate in plantwide process safety programs. LEAN Culture Use knowledge of existing processes to propose process modifications which will reduce waste. The Process Engineer, will be the technical consultant to the plant continuous improvement team. Understand the principle and philosophy behind the implementation of a LEAN culture. In this role you will take ownership of the oversight control execution and ongoing monitoring of matters relating to portfolio compliance.
Skills/Experience:
Relevant third-level degree, preferably with a Compliance, Financial or Legal or equivalent.
Experience in working in a portfolio compliance role.
In-depth knowledge of the UCITS, AIFMD, SFDR and Market Abuse rules as well as the general regulatory environment as it pertains to Irish Financial services companies
Experience in conducting pre/post trade investment compliance
Understanding of using PowerBi and/or SQL/VBA is desirable.
Organised individual who can self-manage multiple priorities, routine work and urgent issues as they arise.

Core Responsibilities:
Support the Head of Compliance to implement and manage the compliance plan and framework to ensure compliance with regulatory obligations (including UCITS, AIFMD, MIFID II, SFDR, MAR, Outsourcing requirements, etc).
Interpret and execute the compliance rules into the Trade Compliance System.
Monitor and resolve the pre and post trade's investment portfolio exception reporting .
Perform ongoing compliance monitoring and surveillance activities associated with ensuring trade compliance
Support business projects as required
Analyse regulatory and legislative developments related to funds compliance and impact to the business.
Assist in the development and implementation of appropriate policies, procedures and practices to meet existing and upcoming regulatory requirements.
