GENERAL SUMMARY Assemble products for shipment to customers, verifying count, container, product codes, batch numbers, etc.
Effectively operate a forklift to position product for shipping.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
Other duties may be assigned.
Follow shipping order to locate product for shipping Verify shipment for proper count, container, product code, batch number, etc.
per shipping order information Report all shortages and container discrepancies to customer service or supervisor Select appropriate shipping containers for materials not packaged Select appropriate skid for bulky material Properly pack and/or shrink wrap all items before shipping Maintain accurate staging locations for items located in shipping area

Engineer (Preconstruction)
General Purpose:
To assess project requirements, gather technical data, and provide accurate cost estimates for HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) restoration projects.
This role combines engineering expertise with estimating skills to ensure that HVAC projects are planned and budgeted effectively.
Here are the primary purposes and responsibilities of a Preconstruction Engineer:
Responsibilities and Duties:
Determines scope, designs solutions and estimates cost of HVAC restoration projects. Understands components and function of existing mechanical systems that are being altered or renovated. Develops a project scope of work through site visits and discussions with owner / facility staff Exercises control over design and production tasks to enable HVAC restoration projects. Drafts construction documents and generates specifications for HVAC restoration projects. Utilizes in-house estimating tools to create project budgets. Assists sales team with scope reviews and support as needed. Creates, maintains, and improves estimating tools. Determines the estimated cost of HVAC projects.
This includes calculating costs for labor, materials, equipment, subcontractors, and any other expenses associated with the project.
Conducts on-site visits and assessments to understand the scope and technical intricacies of specific projects.
This includes evaluating existing HVAC systems, identifying any issues or challenges, and gathering data needed for precise estimation. Ensures a smooth transition from estimation to project execution, providing technical guidance and insights as needed.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. 3+ years of industry-specific experience. Experience with construction drafting in AutoCAD. EI certification with ability to obtain PE license preferred. Advanced Microsoft Office Suite knowledge preferred. Experience with programming language (VBA, C#, etc.) preferred Experience with cloud based platforms (Pro-Core, E-Builder, iAuditor, etc) preferred. Ability to travel out of state up to 25% The salary range for applicants in this position generally ranges between $88,000 and $110,000.

Qualifications:
Minimum of bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related engineering discipline. 5 or more years of hands-on experience in new product development and tooling design, prototyping, and testing of mechanical systems with proven track record of successful new product design and development, preferably in durable consumer markets. Experienced in plastic injection molding and plastic parts design. Proven leadership in managing new product development, start to finish. Extensive knowledge of product design, materials selection and manufacturing processes and direct experience working with a broad array of materials, preferably for consumer goods products. Excellent working knowledge of Computer Aided Design modelling concepts and software proficient with 3D CAD software (SolidWorks) for 3D part modeling, drawing, and assembly creation of the mechanical components. A passion for design, engineering, problem solving, with critical thinking and creativity. Ability to work effectively with a cross-functional team from project concept through commercialization. Strong project management, analytical and problem-solving skills including good special acuity for design. Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication and presentation skills. GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
This role educates WTI personnel on proper product use and application, provides installation training on and off the roof, and oversees large self-performed projects from start to finish with intermittent inspections and post-completion inspections of smaller projects.
The QCS will perform regular job site visits during the project and after project completion.
The goal is to provide consistency across the country with proper roof repairs and application of our products.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure proper execution and delivery of all WTI GS and GC self-performed roofing work. Provide a variety of technical and application training sessions in the field and in a shop setting. Provide hands-on application training and supervision of roof coatings and installation. Attend pre-con's on large projects.
Be present at job start-ups to discuss the proper execution of the scope of work.
Visit the projects at specific intervals to assess the completed work and provide any direction or corrective advice.
Perform a pre-final inspection to ensure that the projects have a zero punch list.
Perform final inspections when needed.
Pre-project field inspections and technical support including but not limited to: Peel tests Product recommendations Proper product installations Post-project completion inspection to ensure quality workmanship and proper utilization and application of materials. Product diagnostic support to ensure that WTI is kept out of trouble in misuse of products for the situation. Perform roof inspections with written reports and photo documentation. Perform safety audits while on site to ensure all safety requirements are being met and consult with the safety team when necessary. Communicate professionally with our Technicians, Foremen, Supervisors, Field Operations Managers, Regional Business Managers, Corporate Staff, and the Sales Team. Complete daily reports, including DTAs, safety audits, truck audits, and QC inspection reports, as necessary and applicable. Complete weekly/monthly activity reports as requested. Support the region as needed when the weather conditions do not allow for your normal job responsibilities. Additional tasks as assigned by the manager.
ABILITIES AND SKILLS:
Working knowledge of commercial roofing systems, including built-up, modified, single-ply, and metal. Working knowledge of roof coating systems. Strong roofing or building science mechanical aptitude. Practical computer application literacy (including Microsoft Office Suite and learning the necessary internal business systems). In-depth technical understanding and extensive hands-on knowledge of applications of products.
Intimate knowledge of our product line. Must be able to travel within assigned territory up to 75% of the time with overnight trips included.
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:
5+ years of roofing, roofing repair, troubleshooting, or field service experience. Prior experience in a field service leadership role. History of working in a field that required autonomy and self-motivation. Prior experience and demonstrates a strong work ethic and ability to multi-task.
