Description
GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The Quality Support Specialist educates WTI personnel on the proper use and application of products, providing installation training both on and off the roof.
They oversee large self-performed projects from start to finish, conducting intermittent inspections and performing post-completion inspections of smaller projects.
The QCS will conduct regular job site visits during the project and after project completion.
The goal is to provide consistency nationwide through proper roof repairs and the application of our products.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure proper execution and delivery of all WTI GS and GC self-performed roofing work.
Provide a variety of technical and application training sessions in both field and shop settings.
Provide hands-on application training and supervision of roof coatings and installation.
Attend pre-cons on large projects.
Be present at job start-ups to discuss the proper execution of the scope of work.
Visit the projects at specific intervals to assess the completed work and provide any direction or corrective advice.
Perform a pre-final inspection to ensure that the project has a zero-punch list.
Perform final inspections when needed.
Pre-project field inspections and technical support, including but not limited to:
Peel tests
Product testing
Product recommendations
Proper product installations
Post project completion inspection to ensure quality workmanship and proper utilization and application of materials.
Product diagnostic support to ensure that WTI is kept out of trouble due to misuse of products in the situation.
Conduct roof inspections, providing written reports and photo documentation.
Conduct on-site safety audits to ensure all safety requirements are met and consult with the safety team as needed.
Review and train on large warranty adjustment projects over ten (10) man days.
Communicate professionally both verbally and in writing with our Technicians, Foremen, Supervisors, Field Operations Managers, Regional Business Managers, Corporate Staff, and the Sales Team.
Complete daily reports including DTA's, Safety Audits, Truck Audits, and QC Inspection Reports as necessary and applicable.
Complete weekly/monthly activity reports as requested.
Support the region as needed when weather conditions prevent the fulfillment of daily job responsibilities.
Facilitate training in a classroom setting.
All other Quality Control Inspection related tasks or training as assigned by the manager.
Travel predominantly within assigned territory and nationally when needed, complete and submit expense reports on a timely basis.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
OSHA 30 training OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Strong roofing or building science mechanical aptitude.
Prior experience in a field service leadership role.
Practical computer application literacy (including Microsoft Office Suite and learning the necessary internal business systems)
In-depth technical understanding and extensive hands-on knowledge of applications of products.
Intimate knowledge of our product line.
This position is an autonomous role and requires self-motivation to manage a high level of independence.
Strong work ethic and ability to multitask.
Experience working with various types of technology and software.
Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
The salary range for applicants in this position generally ranges between $75,000 and $95,000.
This range is an estimate, based on potential employee qualifications, operations, needs, and other considerations permitted by law.

The Role
As Technical Sales Representative, you will be responsible for developing existing business relationships while identifying and securing new opportunities throughout your territory.
Key Responsibilities
Managing and developing a portfolio of aftermarket distributor and reseller accounts across QLD and NSW.
Building strong relationships with customers, providing commercial and technical support.
Identifying and converting new business opportunities within the automotive aftermarket sector.
Supporting customers with product selection, application advice, and warranty enquiries.
Processing customer orders and coordinating closely with third-party logistics partners.
Working alongside the National Sales Manager to execute regional sales strategies and growth plans.
Delivering product training and presentations to customers and sales teams.
Maintaining accurate CRM records, sales activity, and opportunity pipelines.
Analysing market trends, competitor activity, and customer requirements to identify areas for growth.
Supporting marketing initiatives, promotions, trade shows, and industry events.
Providing regular sales and market feedback to the wider business and senior leadership team.
About You
Experience within the automotive aftermarket industry.
Proven experience in sales, account management, customer service, or business development.
Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to influence and engage customers at all levels.
Commercially aware with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities.
Comfortable discussing technical products and translating technical information into practical customer solutions.
Well-organised with strong administration and reporting skills.
Confident using Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and sales reporting tools.
A self-motivated individual who enjoys managing their own territory and schedule.
Experience selling or supporting automotive aftermarket products, including accessories, electrical products, lighting, vehicle enhancement products, or related categories would be advantageous.

What are we looking for?
We are looking for an established Supply Chain and Demand Planning professional who combines technical capability with commercial awareness, curiosity and the confidence to influence others.
Ideally, you will have:
Proven experience within Supply Chain and/or Demand Planning.
Experience working within a complex manufacturing, sub-assembly, distribution, wholesale or retail environment.
Strong understanding of demand planning, forecasting, inventory and supply-chain processes.
Experience using supply-chain planning tools and technologies.
Experience of process improvement, systems implementation or supply-chain transformation.
The confidence and gravitas to influence and work effectively across multiple functions.
A collaborative approach, while also being comfortable working independently and taking ownership.
A genuine interest in technology, data and improving planning capability.
Ambition to progress towards a future management or leadership role.
Systems experience:
Experience with Slimstock / Slim4 would be particularly attractive, although candidates with strong experience of other supply-chain planning and forecasting systems are encouraged to apply.
