About the job
Overseeing and coordinating foster carer training programmes
Facilitating and supporting foster carer support groups
Completing unannounced visits to foster carers and children
Undertaking direct work with children and young people
Planning and coordinating participation events across the fostering service
Maintaining accurate and timely case recordings and reports
About you
The successful candidate will have experience working with children, young people and families, alongside excellent relationship-building, communication and organisational skills.
You will be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and be confident working collaboratively within a team environment.
The hours are 9-5 where possible but there will be occasions where visits may need to occur outside of school hours/when foster carer are at home if they work elsewhere.
