Service Care Solutions are committed to enhancing public safety and security in partnership with local authorities, emergency services, and the community.

We are looking for dedicated individuals to join a local council team of CCTV Operators.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor live and recorded CCTV footage for any signs of suspicious or criminal activity.


• Quickly and accurately report incidents to emergency services and relevant authorities.


• Utilize CCTV technology to assist emergency services in locating incidents and responding effectively.


• Communicate clearly and professionally with members of the public, emergency services, and partner agencies via phone, Town Centre radio, and Police radio.


• Work efficiently under pressure and adhere to strict shift patterns.


• Comply with all relevant protocols and procedures, including those related to the handling of sensitive information.

Essential Requirements:

• Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.


• Assertive and able to guide emergency services to incidents.


• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.


• Experience working effectively under pressure.


• Proficient in the use of CCTV equipment and associated computers.


• Vetting to NPPV/1 or equivalent (to be discussed).

Desirable Experience:

• Previous experience in a CCTV environment.


• Experience working with partner agencies.


• Familiarity with various communication methods.

Qualifications:

• Control Room Operator Training (desirable).

Working Conditions:

• 24-hour, 7-day a week shift pattern.


• Work may be at any of the Council's CCTV monitoring centers.


• Ability to accurately follow instructions without close supervision.


• Effective and sensitive communication with emergency services and the public.

Training:

• Tactile training and familiarization with Havering systems will be provided.
