Job Title: Director of Food & Beverage

Location: Maldives 

Package: $4,000 - $5,000 USD per month, plus service charge, accommodation, & other benefits 

 

I'm currently partnering with an amazing resort management company, in the Maldives, who have a number of award winning properties within their existing portfolio.

 

The group have been at the forefront of pioneering the Maldives into one of the most sought out travel destinations it is today, and they are now actively looking for an experienced Director of Food & Beverage to be stationed within one of their 5

* luxury, boutique properties. 

 

The role will be reporting to the Hotel General Manager, and in short you'll be responsible for overseeing and directing all aspects of Food & Beverage Operations.

You'll be directing, implementing, and maintaining a service and management philosophy, which will ultimately support, train, direct, focus, & help staff members have continuous success. 

 

We are looking for those who have successfully overseen F&B operations within 5

* luxury/boutique properties in the past, and those who are at least WSET Level 2 certified.

Prior luxury/remote island experience will of course be preferred too. 

 

What you'll be doing:


  • Ensure that the Food and Beverage operation runs smoothly and effectively in compliance with resort operational standards.
  • Planning and creating innovative menus utilizing fresh local produce to provide guests with an unsurpassable dining experience.
  • Ensure that the Food and Beverage operation is profitable in accordance with approved operational budgets.
  • Ensure that guests receive the highest quality of food and service.
  • Ensure the set-up of workstation with necessary supplies; ensure cleanliness throughout shift.
  • Monitor and ensure the cleanliness of the work areas.
  • Prepare weekly forecast of revenues, covers, and labor costs.
  • Plan special events and food/bar promotions: prepare and distribute monthly calendar.
  • Maintaining a high management profile and good guest / staff / management relations at all times.
  • Actively support Resorts group policies and procedures and ensure that all employees follow these.
