Residential Conveyancer

Are you currently working as a Residential Conveyancer and looking for something a little bit different, with the opportunity to build on your existing property experience? This is a fantastic opportunity for a Chartered Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer with solid leasehold experience looking to specialise in lease enfranchisement.

This mid-sized commercial practice in central Leeds is looking to bring a Chartered Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer into their specialist lease enfranchisement team which sits within commercial property.

Working as part of a team of four, you will be provided with excellent training on leasehold enfranchisement from a very supportive and knowledgeable Partner.

A background in residential conveyancing with a robust understanding of leasehold intricacies is essential as is the desire to learn something new and develop in this area of law.

This area of law provides specialist legal support to landlords and leaseholders of residential flats and involves dealing with lease extensions, the purchases and sales of freehold or leasehold blocks of flats, right to manage claims and the drafting of new leases and licenses.

They also work with managing agents and whilst a lot of work gets passed from their residential team, they are keen for their new recruit to get involved with business development alongside the Partner.

This practice has an excellent reputation for looking after their staff with the ability to offer a high quality of work with a genuine work/life balance.

They take your career and your well being seriously and offer a whole host of benefits including free city centre parking, pension, 25 days holiday with the opportunity to buy more and healthcare.
