Salary: £45k to £55k DOE

Our client is seeking an experienced Marketing Manager to join their team in the Environmental Services industry.

You will develop, implement, and evaluate an extensive marketing strategy leveraging market and competitor analysis to enhance recognition of our client's brand and core principles, drive an upsurge in potential leads, and expedite the sales process to foster business expansion.

The Role:

• Conduct market, competitor, and customer feedback research to identify USPs and adjust the plan as needed.


• Maintain a calendar of campaigns, events, webinars, and thought leadership activities.


• Implement effective segmentation based on product application, geography, stakeholder type, and legislative needs.


• Collaborate with the technical team to identify market gaps and support product R&D.


• Set and manage the annual marketing budget, reporting on ROI.


• Oversee the marketing funnel and execute multichannel campaigns, including digital/social media, website, PR, events, and print.


• Measure and refine campaign success for continuous improvement.


• Create and distribute fresh, targeted content and marketing collateral.


• Enhance awareness of our client's brand, values, and products.


• Develop and enforce brand guidelines.


• Ensure consistency across all marketing activities.


• Manage end-to-end multi-channel campaigns tailored to specific audiences.


• Track and analyse lead activities for continuous improvement.


• Capture and manage prospect data in the CRM system.


• Follow up on client interest to qualify leads.


• Actively participate in meetings and lead initiatives.


• Engage energetically in company activities, generating positive ideas and solutions.


• Quarterly review and adjustment of the marketing plan.


• Approved annual budget with demonstrated ROI improvement.


• Effective market/customer segmentation.


• Detailed campaign calendar with clear objectives.


• System for campaign measurement and analytics.


• Consistent improvement in metrics (e.g., website visits, PPC, email engagement).


• Increased website and social media traffic and engagement.


• Consistent improvement in lead generation and qualification.


• Reduced sales cycle time.


• Campaigns aligned with brand guidelines and values.


• Regular campaign performance insights.


• Active and positive participation in company meetings and initiatives.


• Willingness to take on new projects and generate innovative solutions.

Who we are looking for:

• Expertise in marketing strategy and communications


• Experience in working in a B2b environment


• Previous experience of managing 1 or more reports.


• Proficient in positively influencing team members to meet objectives


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills


• Ability to understand and apply technical concepts.
