Senior Software Engineer, C++, C#, GUI; Oxford

Well qualified Software Engineer/Scientist (C++), required to develop vision softwareC#/ C++ that is used for a variety of applications including Computer Vision, AI, Machine Learning & Data Science

Engineers will combine intellect and creativity to solve tough technical problems with the practical skills and common sense to put their solutions into practice.

You will have first rate academic credentials in physics, maths, computer science or software engineering or a closely related discipline and an intuitive grasp of fundamental software principles.

Scientists/Software Engineers C#/(C++) will have knowledge or experience of coding in high level languages such as C++, C# or Java coupled with strong mathematical skills.

You will be a scientist or engineer who has a thirst for solving engineering problems and a strong desire to develop a career in software engineering.

Experience of developing algorithms and using mathematical languages will be useful.

Programming libraries, .NET and class libraries, the Windows operating system and how it interacts with the software environment.

Have a good knowledge of objects, decomposition of a software project into libraries, and library re-use across projects.

Have a good knowledge of WinForms, WPF, multi-threaded development, the MVC/MVVM pattern and SOLID design principles.

Able to develop software covering the full software life cycle.

Capture customer requirements, then design, develop, test and maintain software, including the release process, version control and bug management.
