About The Role:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced General Manager to lead a small team and uphold the standards of excellence in this cosy 50 cover restaurant/bar.

The ideal candidate will have a robust background in premium dining, extensive wine knowledge, and a keen understanding of traditional British food.

You will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, driving business growth, and ensuring the guests receive the highest quality service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of daily operations, including staff management, and customer service.
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer experience and drive sales growth.
• Maintain high standards of food and beverage quality, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Curate and manage an extensive wine list, offering expert recommendations to the guests, and manage the cellar confidently.
• Lead, train, and motivate a team of dedicated staff to achieve business goals and maintain a positive work environment, leading from the front.
• Handle customer inquiries and feedback with professionalism and a commitment to satisfaction.
• Identify opportunities to elevate the offerings and expand sales.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a General Manager in a premium dining environment.
• Extensive knowledge of wines, including pairing, tasting, and cellar management.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage and inspire a diverse team.
• Excellent organizational, multitasking, and communication abilities.
• A passion for delivering outstanding customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere.
