Teach Plus is working with a vibrant and inclusive 2-form entry primary school in Redbridge with a strong community spirit and a commitment to academic excellence.

The school is seeking a confident and motivated Year 5 Teacher to join their team full-time from September 2025.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive school where professional development is prioritised, and staff are empowered to deliver engaging, high-quality teaching that supports all learners.

As a Year 5 Teacher, you will be expected to:
➢ Plan and deliver high-quality, creative lessons in line with the KS2 National Curriculum
➢ Support pupils in developing independence, resilience, and readiness for Year 6
➢ Track and assess pupil progress to inform teaching and close learning gaps
➢ Work collaboratively with your year group partner to share planning and ideas
➢ Establish a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports academic and emotional development
➢ Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues

The ideal candidate will have:
➢ Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum, particularly in Year 5
➢ A reflective, child-centred approach to teaching and learning
➢ Excellent behaviour management and classroom organisation skills
➢ Previous experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (preferred, not essential)
➢ A UK-recognised teaching qualification with QTS
➢ An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
➢ The right to work in the UK
