Construction Project Manager

A client within the Public Sector based in West Yorkshire is currently recruiting for a Project Manager to join their construction team as soon as possible.

The client is offering a full time, temporary position on an ongoing basis with the ideal candidate having experience of working within a local authority within a property environment.



The Role


Key purpose of the role is to be a client-side project manager with experience on a variety of construction projects in the public sector and having experience of working on a varied corporate estate.



Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:



  • working with client to develop projects from inception including developing briefs and business cases.




  • experience of direct staff management as well as multi-disciplinary appointed design teams to deliver design, tender and contract administration of the construction projects.

  • provide technical support to our internal client departments acting as a critical friend.



The Candidate


To be considered for this role you will require a construction related degree.


The below skills would be beneficial for the role:



  • Experience of contract management

  • Managing multi disciplinary design team relationships

  • JCT/NEC forms of contract is essential



The client is looking to move quickly with this role and as such are offering £450 per day Umbrella LTD Inside IR35.
