Dental Nurse

Service care solutions are recruiting for a Dental nurse to work a agency temporary contract in Birmingham NHS.

Pay
Band 4
Day- £16ltd (paid via a umbrella company)
Sat/night- £20ltd
Sun/Bank hol- £25Ltd

Main duties
, Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of a range of dental, orthodontic and maxillofacial procedures appropriate to the area of work.
, Ensure the appropriate preparation of surgeries, ensuring the correct instruments, equipment and medicaments are available prior to the commencement of clinic.
, Carry out infection prevention and control procedures to prevent physical, chemical and microbiological contamination in the surgery.
, Prepare equipment, materials and patients for dental radiography.
, Ensure the correct patient records, x-rays & models are available prior to treatment and updated.
, Communicate effectively to patients, parents & carers who may be nervous, have communication difficulties or complex medical needs.

Providing pre and post-operative advice and instruction for routine & specialist dental procedures
, Be responsible for the safe disposal & tracking of instruments or equipment requiring decontamination following procedures.
