Position: Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer

Salary: £41,500 negotiable depending on experience (overtime available based on workload)

Location: Mobile, based in Peterborough & Surrounding Areas

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm

About the Role

Recruit Mint is seeking a Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer for a leading facilities maintenance client.

The role involves servicing schools, factories, and warehouses, with a focus on planned preventative maintenance and occasional reactive maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

· Manage Air Conditioning and Refrigeration equipment, troubleshooting issues and liaising with customers and suppliers.

· Conduct Planned Preventative Maintenance and Reactive Repairs on air conditioning systems.

· Report defects to the Line Manager and provide parts lists and time estimates for repairs.

· Undertake minor installation works.

· Ensure a safe and healthy working environment.

· Maintain good working relationships with colleagues and clients.

Person Specification

· Good written and spoken English, basic mathematical skills.

· Recognised technical qualifications in air conditioning and refrigeration.

· Experience with Building Management Systems.

· Installation and maintenance experience with air conditioning systems.

· Good communication skills, both verbal and written.

· Flexible working hours and availability for a call-out rota.

· Valid Driving Licence.

Qualifications

· Recognised Refrigeration/Air Conditioning qualifications.

· Current refrigerant safe handling certificate.

· Desirable: mechanical and electrical qualifications.
