Job: Bookkeeper 

Location: St Ives, Cambs

• Salary: £23,000 - £26,000
• 37.5 hrs a week 0830-1700

Duties:

• Managing the bookkeeping needs of a portfolio of clients
• Posting/processing of sales and purchase invoices
• Bank reconciliations
• VAT returns
• Answering ad hoc client queries - dealing with clients via email, phone, face-to-face
• Working closely with the accounts team to ensure accurate reporting

Desired experience/Qualifications/Qualities:

• Practice experience preferred but not essential - bookkeeping knowledge
• Experience using Xero & Sage bookkeeping platforms - SAGE not so much although training will be given
• Experience managing a portfolio of clients preferable
