Head of Claims (Marine insurance) - Dubai - Permanent - 450K AED - 550K AED

A rare, leadership opportunity has arisen with a reputable insurance company to head up one of their marine claims team in Dubai.

The main focus of this role will be to implement and develop exemplary technical standard of claims handling, to provide first class service to their policy holders.

The mains areas of claims will be P&I and FD&D and you will need to be comfortable handles this types of matters.



Applicants should have extensive, first-hand marine claims handling experience within an insurance or law firm setting.

In this role, you will have other claims handlers reporting in to you.

You will still be expected to handle some high profile claims matters directly and you will be responsible the training and career development of the rest of the team.

There will also be an element of networking and business development within this role so applicants should be comfortable with this, although not necessarily have direct experience in this area.

The role requires you to be based in Dubai, but the company can support relocation.
