Import/Goods Inwards Analyst
Stevenage | 12 Month Contract | £23ph Umbrella | 37 hours per week

We are working with a renowned manufacturing giant based in Stevenage who have a great opportunity for an Import Analyst/Goods Inwards Inspector to join them on a 12 month contract.



Role Responsibilities



  • Ensure goods received match purchase order requirement and remain compliant.

  • Verification of procured product in line with contractual conditions.

  • Analyse assembly drawings to assess dimensional tolerances

  • Examine the finish of parts, detect any faulty finishing or painting, deterioration of surfaces, etc.

  • Undertake first off inspections

  • Produce quality control documentation

  • Control defected items via segregation from good product.

  • Raise and maintain relevant defect reports.

  • Maintain product verification approval process via regular audits.

  • Inspection of PCB

  • Ensure compliance with all associated procedures applicable to the manufacturing process.

  • Contribute to the maintenance of an orderly and safe working environment.



Person Specification



  • Level 3 (NVQ/HNC/TR23/TR21) Technical Engineering or Craft Apprenticeship

  • 1-2 years previous experience in similar role, advantageous.


  • Background working in aerospace, defence, military - beneficial.

  • SAP experience, beneficial.
