Hybrid Teaching Assistant

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and versatile Teaching Assistant to join our team in supporting children with autism and special educational needs.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with secondary-aged pupils, excellent communication skills, and a passion for educating young learners.

This hybrid role requires flexibility, as the successful candidate will work both online and in the pupil's home as needed, providing personalized, one-on-one support to foster a positive and effective learning environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the lead teacher in implementing educational activities and lesson plans


• Provide support and guidance to the student with special needs


• Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment for the student


• Collaborate with the lead teacher to assess student progress and provide feedback to parent


• Assist with daily routines and transitions

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with children, particularly secondary students, is preferred


• Knowledge of special education practices and strategies is a plus (ASD with PDA)


• Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff members


• Patience, empathy, and a passion for working with children
