SEN Level 3 Teaching Assistant

Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

Location: Wirral

Integra Education are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our [artner school from September.

As a Level 3 qualified SEN TA, you will provide support to students with varying levels of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities in a variety of settings, including the classroom, corridors, and playground.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with teachers to implement individualised education plans (IEPs) and provide targeted support to students with SEND


• Provide one-to-one support to students in lessons and activities


• Maintain accurate records of student progress and feedback to teachers and parents

Requirements:

• Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools (or equivalent)


• Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)


• Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing circumstances


• The ability to use alternative communication methods, such as Makaton and British Sign Language, to support students with complex needs would be an advantage
