£13.00 TO £16.00 PER HOUR DEPENDENT ON EXPERIENCE

Are you an experienced CNC Setter on Turning Lathe machines? If so, my Leicester based client may have the perfect opportunity for you.

They are looking to expand their workforce and are on the hunt for a skilled CNC Turner Setter/Operator. 

Role based in LE18, Leicester commutable from Oadby, Blaby, Leicester and all surrounding areas

 
JOB PURPOSE: CNC Turner Setter/Operator 

- To accurately set and machine parts using CNC Turning Lathes to company deadlines Setting and
running of CNC turning lathes
- In-process checks using measuring equipment to include micrometers, shadow graph, laser
micrometer and digital callipers -  Ability to read engineering drawings
- Machining of parts in diverse materials with tolerances to 0.010mm / 10 microns

CANDIDATE: CNC Turner Setter / Operator 

- Previous experience on a CNC Turning Machine
- Ability to set and operate a CNC Turning Machine 
- Work as part of a team and on your own initiative 
- Ability to work rotational shifts

THE PACKAGE:

- Weekly rotational shifts:

week 1 Mon to Thurs 06.00-14.30, Fri 06.00-11.30

week 2 Mon to Thurs 14.00 - 22.30, Fri 11.30-17.00

- Plenty of overtime available

- Pay rate dependant on experience and skill level - Up to £16.00ph

- This is initially an Ongoing contract role, with the potential to be made Permanent in the future
