Teacher of History

Integra Education are currently looking for a passionate Teacher of History to work at an Ofsted rated Good specialist school in Urmston.

The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic and engaging teacher with previous experience supporting pupils with SEN/SEND or SEMH.

This role is full-time from September.

Whilst this will initially be a temporary position this role will be made permanent for the right candidate after a qualifying period.

Duties:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum


• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment


• Provide constructive feedback to students and parents

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification


• Proven experience in teaching history at secondary level


• Previous experience supporting pupils with additional needs


• Strong classroom management abilities


• Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners


• Familiarity with educational technology and resources
