QC Officer

We are currently looking for a QC Officer to join a leading Pharmaceutical company based in the Hertfordshire area.

As the QC Officer you will be responsible for sampling and inspecting all incoming packaging components against agreed sampling procedures and specifications.

To raise a Non-conformance report if any material is out of specification.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your duties as the QC Officer will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1.

Conduct sampling and inspection of all incoming packaging components, adhering to established sampling procedures and specifications.
2.

Diligently raise "Non-conformance" reports for any materials that do not meet the required standards.
3.

Accurately maintain stock packing material records, including retention and archiving, in compliance with written procedures and cGMP requirements.
4.

Execute sampling of incoming raw materials in line with written protocols and maintain meticulous records for these materials.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
To be successful in your application to this engaging role as the Quality Control Technician, we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
1.

Relevant degree in Chemistry.
2.

Proven experience working in a laboratory environment within the pharmaceutical industry.
3.

A thorough understanding of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and a commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety.
