The Candidate

• Previous experience as a Bakery Operative
• Experience working within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.
• Basic verbal & written communication skills to describe problems, causes and solutions.
• Bakery related qualifications (Desirable)

The Role

• Production of bakery goods according to specification ensuring correct quality and product safety,
• Follow operating procedures relevant for tasks carried out.
• Operate equipment within the department maximising efficiency and smooth production running.
• Monitoring required parameters impacting food safety quality and legality of the product, record on relevant paperwork and report any discrepancies occurred.
• Report any issues with the product, equipment, or building.
• Prioritise tasks and multitask when needed.
• Follow GMP and personal hygiene rules outlined by company.
• Able to work according to tight production schedule.
• Maintain clean and safe working environment for yourself and other employees.
• Work within a team and on his own.
• Adhere to personal hygiene rules outlined by company.
• Follow operating procedures relevant for tasks carried out.
• Complying with company hygiene procedures and schedules ensuring the workstation is maintained in hygienic conditions; operate clean as you go policy all the time.
• Follow Health and Safety requirements all the time.
• Utilizes continuous improvement techniques and assists in identifying opportunities to improve processes.
• Carry out any other reasonable task as directed by supervisor/manager.
