Quality Technician/ Quality Engineer

My Client who is a leading manufacturer within their field is seeking an experienced Quality Engineer/ Quality Technician to join their team due to continued growth and expansion.

The Successful Quality Controller will have the following attributes:

• Experience working in an engineering manufacturing environment
• Experience using Excel to display data (can formulate trend graphs ect)
• Experience with ISO auditing (ideally ISO 9001)
• Good understanding of lean manufacturing techniques
• Knowledge of quality problem solving tools
• Ability to read engineering drawings
• Ability to use handheld measuring tools such as verniers and micrometers
• Experience inspecting machined parts
• Experience inspecting inward goods
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
• Experienced Processing audits
• IT Literate
• Experienced in dealing with customers
  

   

  Quality Controller the role:

• Perform first off inspections
• Conduct internal audits and assist with processing external audits
• Identify issues and come up with solutions using quality problem tools such as 8D, 5WHY
• Write up inspection and Non-Conformance reports
• Control all quality documentation
• Take the lead in any ISO auditing reaccreditation
• Liaise with customers and investigate any issues / complaints
