Our client is upscale steakhouse in New York City who is currently seeking a Executive Sous Chef to support its kitchen operations.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of a renowned restaurant known for its exceptional cuisine and impeccable service.


  • Ensure exceptional food quality, presentation, and consistency to maintain their reputation for culinary excellence
  • Hire, train, and mentor a team of talented chefs and kitchen staff to achieve high standards of culinary skill and teamwork
  • Oversee cleanliness of the kitchen and equipment to ensure compliance with legislation
  • Assist with managing cost controls, forecasting and inventory management
  • Review financial targets to ensure they are being met or exceeded

Executive Sous Chef Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a comparable role
  • Ability to lead others and hold your own in a fast-paced environment
  • A well-rounded and creative culinary professional who can support and inspire team members
  • Detail orientated professional with excellent communication, organisational and time-management skills
  • Strong financial knowledge
