Support Worker

We are seeking compassionate, dedicated, and flexible Support Workers to join our team on an agency basis.

This role is perfect for individuals looking for the flexibility to choose their shifts while making a meaningful impact on the lives of those we support.

As a Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality care and support tailored to the unique needs of our residents.

We are working with a leading provider of support services within Learning Disabilities and Autism.

The service is dedicated to supporting individuals with moderate learning disabilities, associated health needs, autism, and behaviours that may be perceived as challenging due to their diagnosis.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Provide personal care and support to residents, respecting their dignity and promoting independence.

  • Assist with daily living activities, including meal preparation, medication administration, and household tasks.

  • Support residents in engaging with the community and participating in activities that promote social inclusion.

  • Implement and follow individualised care plans and behaviour support strategies.

  • Monitor and report on the physical and emotional well-being of residents.

  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure consistent and holistic care.

  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with regulatory requirements.


Requirements:



  • Previous experience in a similar role supporting individuals with learning disabilities and autism is preferred.

  • Understanding of positive behaviour support and person-centred care approaches.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Reliability and a strong work ethic.
