Job Description


Service Care Solutions has a new and exciting opportunity which has become available working as an Early Help Practitioner with Bury Council


Bury Council are currently looking for someone who is happy to work 37 hours per week.


Key responsibilities



  • As part of a team under the direction of a Team Leader, you will work with families requiring a package of support to safeguard and promote their welfare, and who may be experiencing multiple and complex issues.

    Holding a case load of families you will assess, plan and co-ordinate a package of support for families, as well as providing practical hands-on support and direct work using strength based approaches.

  • Work directly with Children and Young People, gaining insight into their lived experience and developing interventions to improve outcomes

  • Work with partners to take a whole family approach to prevention and intervention and work across services to effect positive changes.



Essential Criteria



  • Must hold an enhanced DBS

  • Must have an NVQ Level 3 or above in Health and Social Care, or a similar relevant area
