Geography Teacher

Integra Education are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Geography Teacher to join our dynamic team in Urmston.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about teaching and have a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by students with SEMH needs.

You will play a key role in delivering high-quality education tailored to meet the individual needs of our students, ensuring they achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Geography lessons tailored to the needs of SEMH students.


• Develop and implement individualized learning plans to support student progress.


• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports the emotional and social development of all students.


• Use a variety of teaching strategies and resources to accommodate different learning styles.


• Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback and support.

Qualifications and Experience

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.


• Degree in Geography or a related field.


• Experience teaching students with SEMH needs is highly desirable.


• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


• Commitment to continuous professional development and a willingness to learn new teaching strategies.
