Our client, an independent environment practice, integrates architecture, engineering, planning, and surveying services for diverse projects.

The Role:

As a Drainage / Flood Risk Engineer, you will contribute to diverse projects, focusing on residential and non-residential developments, enhancing drainage and flood risk strategies.

They will consider senior candidates only.

Responsibilities:



* Prepare Flood Risk Assessments and Surface Water Drainage Strategies.


* Developing strategies for foul water drainage to bolster Planning Applications.


* Utilise Micro drainage / Flow software to model drainage networks.


* Input into site masterplans for optimal drainage integration.


* Liaise with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders.


* Ensure projects are completed efficiently, meeting deadlines and budgetary constraints.


* Regularly review company practices and associated policies for continuous improvement.


* Assist in team management and development.


Requirements:



* Previously worked as a Drainage Engineer, Flood Risk Engineer or in a similar role.


* Possess 2+ years of experience.


* Experience in preparing and reviewing Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage Strategy documents.


* Background in management of drainage and flood risk elements of a project.


* Understanding of UK Drainage / Flood Risk Regulation / Best Practice.


* Skilled in Micro drainage / Flow, Micro station / AutoCAD, Microsoft Office.


* Experience in preparing Transport Statements/Assessments, Travel Plans, and Utility Assessments (beneficial)


* Degree level education (preferred)
