Technical Business Development Manager

My client, a successful Kitting and Component distributor with an established customer base across the UK, are looking to hire an experience Business Development Manager specialising in memory, storage and audio codec, to join their sales team, heavily focussed on building new relationships and winning new business opportunities.

The role can be based remotely anywhere in the UK but will require travel to the West Sussex Head Office once per month.

The Business Development Manager - Memory, Storage and Audio Codec will drive new business sales from concept to close.

Understanding of memory, storage and audio codec product lines is key to the success of this role.

Requirements of the Business Development Manager - Memory, Storage and Audio Codec

- Generate and develop new business opportunities through the sales cycle through building strong relationships with new contacts

- Generate and convert new business leads

- Work closely with colleagues from around the business; Estimating, Engineering, Purchasing and Quality

- Reporting to support both financial and sales target

- Interpret customer expectations and increase customer interaction and retention through strong communication and relationship building

- Basic salary up to £55,000 per annum plus UNCAPPED commission potential
