Restaurant & Lounge Manager – Private Members Club

Salary: $80,000

Location: New York, NY

Our client, a first-of-its-kind private members club, is seeking a General Manager to join their elite team.

This exclusive club offers unparalleled experiences, blending luxury and innovation in a unique setting.

The Restaurant & Lounge Manager will oversee restaurant aspects of club operations, ensuring exceptional service and member satisfaction at every level.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise all floor service operations and ensure positive guest experiences
• Respond to guest complaints, turning dissatisfied guests into return guests
• Host pre-shift meetings to engage team members and focus on service standards, large parties, and VIP guests
• Maintain visibility during meals and events to greet members and guests, assisting staff as needed
• Collaborate with the General Manager and Director of Operations to deliver a high-quality membership experience and execute a thoughtful communication strategy
• Recruit, train, and manage a skilled and motivated Food & Beverage team, ensuring adherence to grooming, uniform, and service standards
• Monitor service, cleanliness, and presentation in all F&B areas, making recommendations for special maintenance or repair improvements

Key Requirements:

• 3-5 year's experience in a similar position, preferrable within a private members conceot
• Experience in a upscale, fine dining restaurant
• Skilled in coordinating multiple tasks, including managing food, beverage, and labor costs, while maintaining required operational standards in daily restaurant activities
• Strong people management and development skills
• Genuine passion for the hospitality industry and a dedication to delivering elite dining experience
