Sous Chef - Private Members Club

Salary: $85,000

Our client, a first-of-its-kind private members club, is seeking an Executive Sous Chef to join their elite team.

This exclusive club offers unparalleled experiences, blending luxury and innovation in a unique setting.

The Sous Chef will play a pivotal role in crafting exceptional culinary experiences and elevating member satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure kitchen staff adhere to standards, procedures, rules, and sanitation requirements.
• Monitor sanitation practices to ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
• Check the quality of raw or cooked food products to ensure standards are met.
• Instruct cooks and other workers in food preparation, cooking, garnishing, and presentation.
• Take charge of kitchen opening, closing, and side duties as directed by the Chef de Cuisine.
• Prepare and produce high-quality dishes per guest orders, following approved recipes and specifications.
• Maintain department cleanliness, organization, and adherence to safe work and equipment practices.

Executive Sous Chef Qualifications:

• 2+ years experience in a comparable role within a upscale, high volume setting
• Positive leadership background with experience opening a full-service restaurant
• A well-rounded and creative culinary professional who can support and inspire team members
• Detail orientated professional with excellent communication, organisational and time-management skills
