Director of Finance- Restaurants

Our Client;

We’re very excited to be working for this unique restaurant group.

 They’re looking for a Director of Finance to help oversee strategic planning, budgeting, accounts payable, accounts receivables, general ledger population, bank reconciliations, payroll processing, and performing month-end closing entries and producing financial statements.

The Role:

• Responsible for all financial functions of the business – ensuring accuracy and managing a small team
• Prepare all budgets and forecasts
• Oversee all auditing and tax
• Report to the executive team on financial performance
• Oversee, manage, and ensure the consistent function of all accounting functions
• Manage and oversee accurate and timely bi-weekly payroll processing for all team members
• Resolving queries and suggesting improvements to service
• Monitoring and evaluating all financial information
• Balance sheet reconciliations – ensure comprehension
• Ensure that the management teams are properly supported to fulfil their roles and financial scope
• Managing a small team of individuals across multiple states and countries

The Person

• CPA required
• Must be confident in all elements of forecasting, budgeting and planning
• Substantial experience within a similar accounting role and strong analytical skills
• Excellent IT skills
• Ability to work well under pressure, motivate a team and be a strong team player
• Be an individual of stature who has huge presence and the skill and ability to influence others
