My client is a well-established and well-regarded hospitality brand and they’re now looking for a Senior Catering Manager to help grow their business!

What are we looking for?

We’re looking for an experienced Catering Manager that knows the Chicago market well and has excellent contacts within the industry.

Our perfect candidate will be confident, driven and will have a huge passion for the hospitality industry, more specifically healthy eating! The individual will be focused on organizing catering services and bringing new opportunities.

The Senior Catering Manager will be responsible for the following areas:

• Ensuring that quality and brand standards are being met at all times
• Approaching new clients for business
• Networking
• Controlling costs and managing budgets
• Demonstrating an excellent knowledge of food

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role
• Experience in high-volume, full service restaurants and hotels
• Additional education / degree is preferred
• Motivated and driven and is able to work alone or as part of a team
• High-level understanding and expertise in the sales process
• Available to work evenings, weekends
• Great communicant skills and incredible work habits and organizational
