We're looking for a Finance Manager for one of our clients based in San Francisco.

This client is a newly established food court destination in the heart of the city, offering a dynamic experience with a range of restaurants, bakeries, and bars to suit diverse customer preferences.

As the Finance Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the financial health and growth of the company, devising strategies to drive profitability.

You will oversee finance and accounting operations specifically for the San Francisco location, with lots of opportunities for growth within the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee accounting functions and preparation of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Implement controls for purchase orders and manage vendor relationships to optimize business terms and ensure timely payments.
• Streamline bookkeeping processes, including invoice entry and bank reconciliations, and manage cash flow to support operational needs.
• Ensure compliance with tax laws and coordinate audits while collaborating with departments to create and manage annual budgets.
• Develop financial projections, budgets, and strategic plans, providing insights to support decision-making and operational adjustments.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in payroll systems, including ADP and Seven Shifts, with hands-on experience in payroll management.
• Knowledge of accounting systems such as PAYE, Bill.com, Craftable, and Google Workspace Company, along with a basic understanding of Netsuite.
• CPA certification is not required but would be a plus.
• Ability to work in a hybrid capacity, transitioning to full-time in office.
