My client is looking for a Food and Beverage Manager to look after multiple departments excluding the restaurants.

We are looking for a candidate who has experience in a 5

* Luxury Hotel setting, not only will you need to provide excellent customer service but also you will need to be able to address your guests in French, English and Dutch ( this is a non negotiable).

Your Key Responsibilities will be:

Operations Management


  • Oversee the daily operations of the F&B department.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of all F&B areas.
  • Implement and monitor standard operating procedures.

Staff Management


  • Recruit, train, and supervise F&B staff, including servers, bartenders, and support staff.
  • Schedule staff shifts and manage payroll.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing training and development.

Customer Service


  • Ensure high-quality customer service and satisfaction.
  • Handle customer complaints and feedback.
  • Develop and implement customer service policies and procedures.

Financial Management


  • Prepare and manage the F&B budget.
  • Monitor financial performance, including revenue, costs, and profitability.
  • Implement cost-control measures and strategies to increase profitability.

Inventory Management


  • Oversee inventory levels and ensure adequate supply of food and beverages.
  • Manage relationships with suppliers and negotiate contracts.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and manage stock rotation.

Menu Development


  • Collaborate with chefs to develop and update menus.
  • Ensure menus are in line with current trends and customer preferences.
  • Monitor food quality and presentation.

Compliance and Safety


  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Implement and monitor food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Conduct regular training on health and safety protocols.

Marketing and Promotions


  • Develop and execute marketing strategies to attract customers.
  • Plan and oversee special events and promotions.
  • Manage social media and other promotional activities.

Qualifications


  • Education: A degree in hospitality management, business administration, culinary arts, or a related field is often preferred.
  • Experience: Several years of experience in F&B management or a supervisory role within the 5

    * Luxury Hospitality Industry is regarded very favorable.
