Caretaker

Join a friendly team to maintain vacant properties, communal areas, and offices, including specialist cleaning tasks.

In this Caretaker role, your duties will include:

• Conducting thorough pre-void clearances, responsibly dispose of waste, promote eco-friendly practices, and perform detailed post-void cleaning to meet company standards.
• Verifying and programming communal entrance fobs/keys for void properties, ensuring new residents have the necessary access upon move-in.
• Performing specialist cleaning tasks, including fly-tipping removal, needle sweeps, dog fouling, and hoarding cleanup, using appropriate equipment and safety protocols.
• Assisting Community Cleaners with communal areas and office spaces, support Community Safety Officers with cleanliness and compliance initiatives, and collaborate with the gardening team on shared projects.

We are keen to see your CV if you have the following skills and experience:

• Previous experience in a cleaning/maintenance role maintaining high health and safety standards and working in a customer-focused environment.
• Adaptable to changing priorities with strong teamwork, communication, basic numeracy, IT skills, and customer service.
• Positive attitude, reliability, attention to detail, efficiency, ability to meet deadlines, work independently and as part of a team, and courteous communication.
• Capable of manual handling per health and safety legislation, accountable for vehicle and equipment upkeep, requiring a full UK driver's license and a basic DBS check.

This is temporary, full time (35 hours per week) Monday to Friday on a week-by-week basis however is likely to last 6 months.

The hourly pay rate is £11.44 plus holiday pay, and you'll be travelling to various locations across North Wales, but you'll be predominately based near Llandudno.
