Behaviour Mentor must be able to work Full time.


Salary: £90 - £120 depending on experience as a behaviour mentor.

Look no further, Teach Plus would love to hear from you for the behaviour mentor role.


Teach Plus are currently working with a mainstream primary school across the Brent area, who are wanting to make a change to children's and young people's lives.

You will need patience, supportive, and go the extra mile to make pupils feel safe within the environment where they feel valued and listened to.


For this behaviour mentor role, you will be expected to support on a one-to-one basis with pupils with challenging behaviour.

You will be expected to help support class teachers to implement behaviour support plans to meet child individual needs, build professional relationships with staff and the pupils.


As a Behaviour Mentor you will be required to:



  • Assisting with identifying pupils in need of support

  • Conducting one-to-one mentoring sessions with identified pupils

  • Develop strategies for pupils to better manage their behaviour

  • Drawing up action plans for learners

  • Liaising with SENCO's

  • Keeping track of pupil progress and monitoring behaviour

  • Organising lunchtime activities for pupils who display challenging behaviour during breaks

  • Supporting liaisons with families



The ideal candidate for a Behaviour Mentor will have:



  • Experience supporting pupils with challenging behaviour

  • Experience supporting pupils with SEN

  • Enhanced DBS on the update service - child work force only

  • Right to work with the UK

  • Overseas criminal clearance
