HVAC Pipe Fitter

Location: Glasgow

Salary: Up to £15.64 per hour (DOE) + Excellent Benefits

The Client:

Our client is a well-established engineering firm, offering expert and reliable design and build services to both public and private clients.

The Role:

As a HVAC Pipe Fitter, you will be responsible for installing, assembling, and maintaining piping systems and HVAC components in commercial and industrial settings.

The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of HVAC systems, strong technical skills, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:



* Install and assemble HVAC piping systems including chilled water, hot water, steam, and condensate systems.


* Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems to ensure efficient operation.


* Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately install piping systems.


* Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols, ensuring a safe work environment.

Utilize appropriate safety gear and follow established safety procedures.


* Inspect work to ensure compliance with specifications and industry standards.

Identify and rectify any defects or issues.


Requirements:



* Previous experience working in a similar role.


* Experience with all heating and cooling system types.


* Skilled in pipefitting and welding.


* Strong ability to read and interpret technical documentation.


* Strong physical stamina and manual dexterity for precise and safe operations.


* Possess CSCS card.


* Asbestos awareness certification would be preferred.


* Valid driving licence.


Shifts:



* Monday -Thursday: 8.00am - 4.30pm


* Early finish on Friday: 8am - 2pm
