Location: Lincoln, Lincolnshire (Hybrid)

Salary: £40k - £45k (DOE) + Excellent Benefits

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

The Client:

Our client is a well-established accountancy firm, specialising in accounting & bookkeeping, audits, personal financial planning & advice, and payroll & contractor services.

The Role:

As a Tax Senior, you will assist the Tax Director with tax advisory and planning tasks.

Responsibilities:



* Stay updated on taxation news and regulations, sharing knowledge with the tax and accounts teams.


* Handle personal tax and capital gains tax compliance and advice, including preparing, reviewing, and submitting Self-Assessment Tax Returns for HNWIs, sole traders, partners, landlords, etc., as well as CGT 60-day reports.


* Oversee workflow and tax deadlines, collaborating with client portfolio owners to ensure work is completed efficiently and on time.


* Mentor junior staff, review their work, and support their training.


Requirements:



* Previous experience working as a Tax Senior in a similar role.


* Experience working in an accountancy practice in a tax-focused role.


* Ideally a CTA qualified or part qualified.


* Background in computation and review of IHT, Trusts and Corporation Tax would be beneficial.
