This organisation has recently made a decision to make significant investment (worth circa £1.8m) into their Leeds site, which will include a full overhaul of the workspace and facilities.

Because of continued demand of their versatile product range, this organisation are currently recruiting a number of a positions, including a permanent Field Service Engineer vacancy.

This Field Service Engineer position will involve staying away from home around 25-30% of the time, however, the successful candidate will need to be based within 1 hour of the Leeds facility in order to work from the factory when required.

For the Field Service Engineer position, we are keen to receive applications from individuals who possess:

• Carrying out maintenance, overhaul and installation work on new and refurbished equipment, including Pumps, Valves, Actuators and Hydraulic Equipment


• Travelling across the UK (and occasionally internationally) to customer sites to respond to planned maintenance as well as breakdowns


• Adhering to strict health & safety standards specific to customer's industry standards (Steel Processing, Power Generation etc.)

Working Hours of the Field Service Engineer:
40 Hours per week with flexible finish times on Friday

• 08:30 to 16:30 - Monday to Friday


• Frequent overtime available paid at 150%+

In return, the Field Service Engineer will receive:

• Basic Salary: Up to £35,000.00 depending on experience and ability


• Frequent overtime paid at 150% & 180% and travel allowances - realistic earnings circa £65,000.00


• Company Vehicle (Van) with the option of using for personal mileage


• Holiday Entitlement: 30 Days including public holidays


• Pension Scheme: 8% Combined contribution (3% employer / 5% employee)


• Company Sick Pay after 12 months' employment
