The main purpose of the Environmental Specialist is to ensure compliance with government and legal regulations.

Responsibilities of the Environmental Specialist;

• Identify new business opportunities to improve the Env management system.


• Manage Env management program and the Env management system.


• Provide guidance and support on Env legislation and internal standards.


• Manage waste minimisation plan for both sites.


• Responsible for ISO14001 Env management system.


• Lead auditor and contributor to the site wide process and management system audit plan, including ISO45001 and 9001.


• Engaging in a professional development programme to support with progression through the company.

To be successful in this position as Environmental Specialist, a degree within a relevant sector discipline, such as Env Management or Chemical Engineering is required.

The candidate will require experience working within a similar sector, such as chemicals, petrochemicals or oil and gas.

Auditing experience to ISO45001 is needed.
