Senior Cleaning & Floorcare Operative

The Role: We need an ambitious Cleaning Operative with some floorcare experience.

We offer services from wood floor sanding and refinishing to carpet cleaning and hard floor maintenance (stone, tile, terracotta, slate, vinyl).

If you're not a floorcare pro yet, don't worry—we'll train you!

Pay: £13.70 per hour

Location: Primarily based in the York Area, with travel throughout Yorkshire as needed

Flexibility is Key: Your schedule will vary—some days you'll work 6am-2pm, other days 12pm-8pm, depending on business needs.

While we plan ahead, be prepared for last-minute changes due to new jobs, staff absences, or operational shifts.

Your role will include scheduled hours, covering for sickness and absences, and assisting with ad-hoc tasks like Builders Cleans, end of tenancy cleans, and one-off commercial property cleans.

However, floorcare will be your main focus.

Ideal Candidate Background:

• Flooring Experience: Maybe you've worked with flooring or have an installation background.


• Practical Skills: Good with your hands and practical tasks.


• Driving licence: Essential


• Cleaning Expertise: Experienced Cleaning Operative with floor work experience.


• Surface Enthusiast: Enjoy working with materials like stone and wood.
